Giovani Gaja a third generation of the winery, made significant changes in marketing and producion. he changed the size of the Gaja symbol to have it bigger then the Barbaresco letters on the bottle, still today the bottles have the name Gaja spelled bigger then Barbaresco. Angelo Gaja earned a leading position on the market by making Barbaresco his symbol wine and today it is the flagship of the Gaja winery.
