Characteristics
Sito Moresco combines the complexity of Nebbiolo with the roundness of Barbera and the body of Merlot. The wine has a refined bouquet of small red fruits. In the mouth it is elegant, fruity and harmonious. Fresh end with smooth tannins making the wine suitable for immediate but also late drinking.

Vineyards
Rossj-Bass is produced from three separated vineyards in the Langhe district: two of them, Rossj and Bass - both planted in 1984, are located in area surrounding the village of Treiso. Rossj-Bass includes also Chardonnay grapes from a vineyard in Serralunga d’Alba. Total surface: approximately 7 hectares (17.5 acres).
Soil: Rossj vineyard is composed of thin, calcareous clay. Bass vineyard’s soil is richer and less compact than Rossj vineyard’s soil. The soil the vineyard in Serralunga d’Alba is composed by calcareous clay.
Altitude: the Rossj vineyard is located at 300 M above the sea level while the Bass vineyard is at 260 M. The vineyard in Serralunga lies at an altitude of 380 M above the sea level.
Winemaking method
Fermented and aged in stainless steel tanks and barrels.
Characteristics
Nose with white flower and citrus notes, and a hint of honey.
Strong character, good acidity; fresh and lingering finish.
Good bottle ageing capacity.
