Sensory impressions
A delicate, pale yellow with fascinating silvery hues, it has a fine and harmonious nose offering citrus notes of bergamot and grapefruit, tropical fruit, pineapple in particular, with hints of dry herbs and thyme. The palate has a good texture, very fresh and pleasantly acidic with its touch of lime, that leaves a very sapid, almost marine impression in the mouth. The finish is long, clean, coherent with the nose and induces to take another sip.
Serving temperature
6-8° C.
Recommended food pairings
Pinot Grigio Le Calderare is already very enjoyable soon after bottling, when it pairs perfectly with light, freshwater fish recipes featuring trout, European whitefish or white-clawed crayfish. It ages well for up to 3 years, becoming increasingly complex as the time goes by, and better suited for more challenging dishes, such as risotto with perch.

Sensory impressions
A clear, remarkably brilliant ruby red colour, with ruby-garnet hues visible at the edge of the glass, it offers a powerful nose, redolent of sour cherries in spirit, prunes, a potpourri of dry flowers, underbrush, cloves, fine oak, cinnamon and roots of liquorice: an ample bouquet, alluring and aristocratic. The palate is concentrated, with a silky, velvety texture, an extremely dynamic acidity and a pleasant strength; in brief, a big wine, with a long, clean finish.
Serving temperature
16-18° C.
Recommended food pairings
A versatile wine, it easily pairs with pasta with meat sauce, semi-firm cheeses and cured meat cuts. At a riper age, it makes a perfect marriage with capon and guinea fowl, roast veal, pork ribs with sauerkraut or Wiener schnitzels.
Longevity
6 to 8 years.

Sensory impressions
Deep cherry red with garnet hues. An intriguing range of aromas of ripe red fruits, in particular: black cherry, Maraschino cherries preserved in spirit and raspberries accompanied by spiced notes of roasted coffee beans and carob and a balsamic hint. The sip confirms the aromatic impressions and, even with this powerful structure, it is balanced, elegant and harmonious. It closes long and persistent, held by a good acidity and a lively tannic texture.
Serving temperature
16-18° C.
Recommended food pairings
To pair with stew as braised meat, game and aged cheese. Pleasant also as a meditation wine.
Longevity
If stored correctly, it can develop for a long time.
Curiosities
The Amarone della Valpolicella Riserva 2012 is the product of our oldest vines which produce our Amarone Valpolicella Classico. Normally all the grapes from these vines are used to produce our Amarone della Valpolicella Classico, but in 2012, an exceptional vintage year, we decided to experiment and hand selected the grapes only from the best rows of vines in order to monitor the maturing process which was carried out in wooden casks of 21hl. The result is the birth of a different wine, which is particularly soft and elegant, with, in our opinion, an extraordinary capacity for further aging and improvement in correctly stored bottles
